YMCA Milton Keynes is the only local charity dedicated to supporting young people who have experienced or are at risk of homelessness.
They offer a wide range of services that help young people belong, contribute and thrive.
By focusing on four key areas, they support, engage, develop and inspire young people to reach their potential:
- Homes for Young People: Safe accommodation and holistic support providing a fresh start for young people.
- Employment Support: Opportunities to gain qualifications, skills and employment.
- Support & Advice: A safe place to talk and find guidance through groups, mentoring, counselling and mental health services.
- Youth & Community: Activities, clubs and support that help young people connect, grow and build brighter futures.
Since 1981, they’ve supported over 10,000 young people in Milton Keynes. Their state-of-the-art campus and move-on accommodation provide homes for up to 284 young adults. Income from their social enterprises – HomeGround café and their conferencing facilities – helps fund vital support and strengthens their presence in the Milton Keynes community.
