Founded in 2017, Arthur Ellis provides award-winning online talking therapy to children, young people and vulnerable adults who struggle with their mental health and wellbeing.
Our mission is to help the estimated 1.7 million people across the UK who struggle to access support, without long waits or high thresholds. We support every mind, everywhere, promoting access over awareness.
Our mission is to provide accessible, inclusive and reliable mental health support. For us, mental health support comes in many forms, whether this is gaining practical support for wellbeing or more in-depth interventions for mental health issues.
As well as providing care for many people living with complex mental health issues, we also believe in empowering people to recognise the early signs of impacted wellbeing, and how preventative measures can help to stop more serious mental health conditions, later on in that persons’ life. We do this through partnerships with GPs, Schools and rolling out our Bananas and Doughnuts workshops; BQF-accredited training about adapting and maintaining positive wellbeing behaviours.
Founder and Chief Fundraising Officer Jon Manning explains: “Our goal is to bridge the gap between prevention and support. We work directly with communities to strengthen wellbeing from the inside out, while ensuring those outside the workplace can access the help they need without delay.”
As well as directly with those who self-refer to us, and those in public services, we also offer EAP support in workplaces. Through its corporate partnerships, Arthur Ellis delivers wellbeing training and education to teams across sectors and industries, so that every individual has somewhere to turn.
Our service works seamlessly alongside public systems, like the NHS, to enable young and vulnerable people to access our support within days - not when a waiting list says. Arthur Ellis are passionate about driving this change throughout our communities, which is further celebrated at their annual Wellbeing Festival in August, in our home town of MK.
