MK-based hair & wellness space trailblazes sustainable fashion in support of Willen Hospice.
A forward-thinking Milton Keynes business is leading by example — proving that beauty, sustainability, and compassion can come together to create real impact in the community.
Hannah Klewpatinond, owner of HK Hair & Wellness at Furtho Manor Farm, recently brought together a heartfelt and purpose-driven bridal photoshoot in support of the Willen Hospice Bridal and Occasion Shop in Leighton Buzzard.
Featuring a stunning range of pre-loved bridal gowns donated to the hospice, the shoot was styled on a local voluntary group of models to celebrate ethical fashion, authentic self-expression, and bridal beauty without barriers- all donating their time as well as the suppliers involved to support Willen. Every outfit worn helps raise funds for Willen Hospice’s vital work in the local area.
“This shoot was about more than just dresses and hair,” said Hannah. “It was about making space for all people to feel beautiful, to be seen, and to make conscious choices that do good. I’m proud to be part of this movement — and even prouder to lead it locally.”
The photoshoot took place at Furtho Manor Farm, a serene countryside wedding venue and the home of HK Hair & Wellness — a unique space committed to values of inclusion, accessibility, and sustainability.
HK Hair & Wellness is not your typical salon. It is a gender-neutral, affirming space for all — offering expert hair, beauty and wellness services in a calm, welcoming environment. Clients can book one-to-one appointments and private consultations, allowing for comfort, privacy, and personalised care. The team provides everything from bespoke colour and cuts, to massage, waxing, lash lifts, and international wedding styling — with an unwavering focus on quality and kindness.
While sustainability is only beginning to emerge in parts of the wedding and beauty industry, Hannah is leading the way — trailblazing a new, values-led approach that centres people and the planet.
The Willen Hospice Bridal and Occasion Shop offers high-quality, donated bridal gowns, prom dresses and occasionwear. Every purchase supports the charity’s compassionate, specialist end-of-life care services for families across Milton Keynes and surrounding areas.
