KeKo Club is proud to announce a vibrant lineup of events this September, celebrating creativity, cultural heritage, and community spirit across Milton Keynes and Newport Pagnell.
KeKo Club is delighted to be part of two much-loved local celebrations this September:
- Castlemead Fair – 6 September
- Newport Pagnell Council Anniversary – 13 September
Visitors can enjoy hands-on clay activities, meet the makers, and discover the joy of hand building. Open to all ages and abilities, KeKo Club invites both curious beginners and experienced artists to explore the creative possibilities of clay.
Heritage Open Day: Mysteries and Treasures of Trypillya
On 19th September, KeKo Club founder Kateryna Shamshuryna-Acland will join historian Nataliia Niekrasa at the Church of Christ the Cornerstone for a special Heritage Open Day event hosted by the Ukrainian Appeal.
This immersive session will explore the ancient Trypillya civilization - it's art, symbolism, and enduring legacy - followed by a hands-on clay workshop inspired by Trypillya artifacts.
More details are available on the Heritage Open Days website.
Hero Run: A Tribute of Remembrance
Closing the month, KeKo Club is co-organising the Hero Run on 21st September, held at Furzton Lake.
This memorial run honours those who lost their lives due to the Russian invasion of Ukraine. Participants are invited to walk or run in tribute, choosing a Hero to represent and carrying their memory forward with every step.
All proceeds will support the Sunflower Ukrainian Supplementary School in Milton Keynes.

KeKo Club is more than a pottery studio - it is a place where creativity meets community, and where clay becomes a language of connection, healing, and heritage. This September, the studio invites everyone to take part in meaningful events that celebrate both art and community.
