Found Festival aims to raise money for vital community music services across the region.
Found Festival, the UK’s newest boutique festival of music, wellness, and cultural discovery, is proud to announce its charity partnership with Music For All, a leading organisation dedicated to ensuring equal access to music-making across the UK. Through this partnership, Found Festival is reinforcing its commitment to music accessibility, also supporting disadvantaged music-makers in Buckinghamshire and surrounding regions at Chiltern Music Therapy, promoting the life-enhancing benefits of music for communities in need.
Taking place from Friday 22nd - Sunday 24th August 2025 at Claydon Estate in Buckingham, Found Festival is the new project from the multi-generation family behind legacy festival, Towersey, which celebrated 60 years in 2024.
“This partnership feels right at home with our ethos here at Found Festival, where creativity and connection take centre stage”, said Festival Co-Director, Mary Hodson. "We believe music should be accessible to all, and supporting Music For All means enabling thousands of people to experience the power of music in truly meaningful ways."
Not only has the work of Music For All benefited projects and communities across the UK, but also directly in the local Found Festival community.
In 2023 and 2024, Music For All awarded financial support to Chiltern Music Therapy, an organisation delivering music therapy and community music services in Buckinghamshire and beyond.
Receiving both a community project grant and the Power of Music Fund, Chiltern Music Therapy was able to continue the Ashby and Measham Dementia Singing Group - an initiative founded in partnership with Measham Medical Unit - providing fortnightly therapeutic music sessions for people living with dementia and their carers.
These person-centred sessions provide cognitive stimulation, encourage memory and reminiscence, alleviate social isolation, and improve overall well-being. Carers also benefit through mutual support, reducing stress and enhancing their own quality of life.
The crucial funding received enabled Chiltern Music Therapy to rent venue space for music sessions, hire trained music therapists, and subsidise participant contributions.
Music For All has been transforming lives through music for almost 30 years, ensuring those from all backgrounds have access to instruments, free music-learning experiences, and the joy that comes with making music. Through the Power of Music Fund, it has raised £2.3 million to support grassroots organisations in delivering music activities for people living with dementia, while building significant bridges between the health and social care systems.
Found Festival ticket buyers will have the option to add a donation to support the vital work of Music For All, where every penny goes straight to the charity.
Featuring world-class head-turners not headliners, in Americana, Folk, World and Blues music, an enthralling mix of family activities, comment and comedy, inspiring hands-on experiences, dance, wellness and much more, Found promises a unique festival of cultural discovery.
