TRAVEL: Severe delays on M1 in Milton Keynes due to collision

Lanes are currently closed on the M1 between Milton Keynes and Northampton.

Two lanes are currently closed due to crash on M1 Northbound from J14 A509 (Milton Keynes) to J15 A45 (Northampton).

A lorry and car are reported to be involved in the collision.

Travel time is currently 15 minutes with heavy traffic building up.

Inrix, the traffic data company, wrote: "Two lanes closed and heavy traffic due to accident, a lorry and a car involved on M1 Northbound from J14 A509 (Milton keynes) to J15 A45 (Northampton)."

LATEST 10:00AM - The lanes have now re-opened.
