It is all part of the smart motorway works taking place on the M1 near Milton Keynes.
A spokesperson for National Highways said: "Roadworks affect all journeys which is why it is important they are completed as quickly and safely as possible. Our overnight closures are under constant review and we aim to open the road earlier than the times displayed wherever possible.
"Please be considerate of residents living along the diversion routes when travelling during these closures. Closures can only be installed once traffic flows are at their lowest."
Drivers are being warned to plan ahead when travelling, as it may disrupt late or early journeys.
On Saturday 21 May for 2 nights, there will be a full carriageway closure between Junction 14 - Junction 15. Newport Pagnell Services will also be closed.
As well as the full carriageway closure, between Junction 13- 14, lanes 4, 3 and 2 will be closed along with the Junction 14 entry slip.
These closures will all take place between 10pm - 6am.
There are no planned closures for the M1 Southbound this weekend.
