LIVE TRAVEL: Car fire on busy Milton Keynes road

Firefighters attended a car fire earlier today in Milton Keynes.

14:00 UPDATE: The road has now been cleared.

A spokesperson for Buckinghamshire Fire and Rescue said 'One appliance and crew from Broughton attended a car fire at around 11:31am.

'A car was well alight when they arrived. The firefighters used one set of breathing apparatus and one hose reel jet.'

The incident was left in the hands of Thames Valley Police.

11:40AM - MKFM understands firefighters are currently on the scene of a smoking car on Tongwell Street, A4146.
