UK’s Strongest Man
Stadium MK, Milton Keynes, 29-31 May 2021
The UK’s Strongest Man will finally get under way over Spring Bank Holiday Weekend, 29-31 May, at Stadium MK in Milton Keynes.
Over 11,000 Fans will attend the family favourite TV show, which will be televised on Channel 5 later in the year, with over 3 million expected to watch the tv shows.
Held over 3 days, the competition is regarded as the toughest strongman event in the world, with the strongmen taking on up to 13 muscle busting events including the Truck Pull, Car Roll (yes, they flip cars over!) lifting motorbikes over their heads.
Saturday 29th May will see 16 athletes battling it out in the Quarter Finals, with 4 men being eliminated from the competition. Sunday 30th May is Semi Finals Day, when 12 men go head to head to win one of the 8 places in the Final, which takes place on the Bank Holiday Monday.
Reigning Champion, Gavin Bilton of Wales, a 200Kg man mountain, will be out to defend his title after winning the title in convincing fashion in October. ‘To perform in a stunning stadium is every strongman’s dream’ said ‘The Welsh Bull’ Bilton, ‘ Last year I won the title with no fans attending, so this time around I want to do it again in front of a huge crowd. The fans are going to love seeing us throw cars, bikes and trucks around’.
Seating will be on a socially distanced basis, and tickets are still available from www.eventbrite.co.uk.
