The Belgrave House Band: Amy Winehouse's Back to Black

The Belgrave House Band, on a mission to celebrate and honour that historic art form - the album - are back to take on the multi-award winning, chart-topping, doo wopping, soul, reggae and jazz masterpiece Back To Black. Amy Winehouse’s second and best-known album was produced by the esteemed Mark Ronson and Salaam Remi with The Dap-Kings as backing band.

The Belgrave House Band’s line-up is decorated with a full horn section, backing vocalists and a rhythm section from Leeds’ burgeoning jazz scene, chosen to honour Amy’s live band circa 2007. The band will also be taking movement direction from prestigious choreographer, Ruby Portus, who has closely studied the movement of not only Amy’s live performances but also the 60’s Girl Groups which the album is so influenced by. After performing on the “Frank” tour in 2019, London-based vocalist Lydia Kotsirea will be gracing the stage front and centre to bring us her dynamic, delectable and powerful pipes.
