Following a phenomenal two years in the West End and a sensational hit tour across the UK and Ireland in 2016, the multi Olivier Award winning ‘Dazzling’ (Guardian) musical Sunny Afternoon is back and touring the UK in 2020!

With “Triumphant. Show stopping, magic.” (Mail on Sunday), this “Kick-ass. Indisputably terrific” (The Times) musical tells the story of The Kinks who exploded onto the 60s music scene with a raw, energetic new sound that rocked a nation. Set against the back-drop of a Britain caught mid-swing between the conservative 50s and riotous 60s, Sunny Afternoon charts the euphoric highs and agonising lows of one of Britain’s most iconic bands, and their irresistible music that influenced an entire generation.

With music and lyrics by Ray Davies, book by Joe Penhall and direction by Edward Hall, experience the faultless musicianship and brilliant songs played live and loud on stage including You Really Got Me, Waterloo Sunset, Dedicated Follower of Fashion, All Day and All of the Night, Lola, Sunny Afternoon and many more, as the cast of Sunny Afternoon come together in this “Exhilarating” (Financial Times), moving, must-see depiction of one of the greatest rock bands of all time.
