    Sunday 22 June, 2–4 pm – Screening of Fremont + Author Reading
    This event is hosted by the Open University and Community Action: MK, who facilitate the local VCSE Refugee Support Network.

    A moving and humorous drama about Donya, a young Afghan woman who relocates to California after working as a translator for the U.S. Army. This event will also include a reading by author Sonia Saada from her book If the Sea Was Ink. It will be MCed by Viktoriya Shtanko, founder of the Ukraine Appeal Charity and a dedicated supporter of the local Ukrainian community.

    Tickets are free but limited to 6 tickets per booking. If you book but cannot attend please cancel your ticket(s).

    The event is limited to 18+ Adults, due to the nature of the content and conversation.
