Yes we have eBay, Gumtree and other online second hand sites. We also have charity shops, cash4clothes and carboot sales as our options for the junk, unwanted clutter and clothes we dont wear anymore.

Selling online can be time consuming and carboot sales are a hassle with the UK weather.

MY IDEA - PRELOVED MARKET PLACE

An indoor preloved buy and sell event.

Like a carboot but inside a warehouse space, this means you dont have to worry about the rain or your items getting damaged by the damp.

Simply bring your own tables along all of your unwanted items including clothes and rails.

Sellers will be charged for their pitch and visitors/buyers maybe charged a small entrance fee (this will help pay for the venue and a percentage of the proceeds will go to a different chosen charity each event).

It would not start at sunrise but around 10am finishing at 2-3pm and take place on a Saturday or Sunday.

This is only an idea at the moment, I do have a venue - I am putting it out there to see if the people of Milton Keynes and surrounding areas would be interested.
