This Craftivism Project raises awareness of the "Orange the World" and "White Ribbon" campaigns to End Violence Against Women.

The photographs in this exhibition feature craft and artistic pieces created by local communities, organisations and survivors of domestic violence. They have been created to decorate Milton Keynes Rose for the Annual Orange the World and White Ribbon Vigil on 25th November in Campbell Park.

Each piece carries a message of hope, resilience and solidarity and are displayed to spark conversations and provoke thought.

The annual vigil marks White Ribbon Day, when men and boys speak up about their year-round action to prevent violence against women and girls and is also the United Nation’s International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women and Girls. This day is followed by 16 days of activism, where organisations continue to shine a spotlight on the issue, to raise awareness, campaign for action and strive for a safer future.
