Join The Parks Trust for our longest ride of the year - 30 miles as part of the Heritage Open Days programme.

This 30-mile ride will take you on a scenic bike ride, exploring all of MK and highlighting some great cycling routes along the way. It’s the perfect chance to get the bikes out, enjoy the outdoors, and have some fun together!

What else do you need to know?
The event is free, no booking is required—just turn up and enjoy the ride!
The ride is considerably longer than all of the normal rides - and has some slightly trickier parts
Distance: 48km (30 miles), taking approximately 3–4 hours
Please arrive ready to ride, ideally by bike, wearing suitable clothing for cycling and ensuring your bike is in good working order.
If you need to finish early / or choose to not ride the entire route the team will be able to direct you back to the start point
Route details: The ride will follow a mix of leisure routes, Redways, and will include short sections on-road or on trails. You will see nearly all of Milton Keynes, and it's nature and heritage.
Additional information:
- There are public toilets and a café at the start
- Participants should wear appropriate clothing and footwear for the weather and exercise.
- We recommend that you should wear a cycle helmet that conforms to current regulations, is the correct size and is securely fastened.
- Under-16s must be accompanied by an adult - and should be able to complete the distance and ride amongst a group
- All participants should be able to ride a bike safely in a group.
- Dogs are not permitted to attend this event
- Parking at Willen is Pay and Display - Free alternatives are available a short ride away
