March for Men is an event to promote prostate cancer awareness and testing
More Information (MKFM is not responsible for external websites)
Yet there is no regular screening available from the NHS. This means testing has to be initiated by men.
On this walk we join Prostate Cancer UK, Cancer Salone and STEMAX to raise awareness about the need for the availability of testing in the same way as breast cancer screening is available to women.
Join us to raise awareness and advocate for our men.
There will be talks by experts, survivors and campaigners, Free PSA testing for men over 40 and refreshments.
We start at the Old Bus Station opposite the Central Train Station at 10am and walk to the forecourt of Christ the Cornerstone. The event ends at 4pm.
Get in touch with me if you would like to volunteer or if you work in the health and wellbeing sector and would like to set up a stall.
