We're very excited to bring you our guest presenter Ryan Parke who will tell us how he has developed a sales mindset that has helped him to build sales teams and companies.
Roll the clock back to December 2010 and Ryan Parke could be found walking door to door in the rain, sleet and snow pitching meal subscriptions to homeowners. By his own admission, he was the worst salesman in the company and every night he felt like throwing in the towel.
After one particularly bad rejection, “HOW DO YOU SLEEP AT NIGHT?!?” he decided to turnaround his fortunes by devising a number of strategies to help him sell effectively and develop a positive mindset.
Ryan shadowed the best (and happiest) sales leaders in the industry and learned what they did, how they did it and how they sleep at night. Four months later he had tripled his income and become one of the stand-out performers in one of the UK’s toughest and most competitive industries.
Ryan went on to use his sales mindset process to transform one of Thomas Cook’s lowest performing holiday resorts into their most profitable, and close deals with Sainsburys, Boots Pharmacies, Arsenal FC and UBL Bank. He co-founder Lease Comparison, a finance brokerage that is well known for turning ‘non-salespeople’ into confident sales professionals by helping them to develop the positive sales mindset.
All before his 25th birthday!
Everybody is in sales. Maybe you’re not selling car leases — or any products or services — but you are selling something. Whether you own a business and are trying to bring in more customers, are a consultant or are ringing up sales at a local store and determining whether customers will come back, you’re in sales. If you’re looking for a job, raising money for a cause or trying to start a business, you’re especially in sales, because you’re selling your own brand.
Usually Ryan charges £2,000 a day for his training, but he's very kindly agreed to spend a couple of hours with us to share some accessible and instantly usable techniques we all use to change our mindset for growth. There's just a £20 fee to cover admin costs on this event.
No matter what you have to offer to the world, learning a sales mindset can help you not only sell but also make a tangible, positive contribution to every role you inhabit.
Make sure you don't miss out on seeing Ryan. This may be the only date he does for us in 2019.
