The hunt will be on at Milton Keynes Museum this Easter when the search for hidden eggs begins – which lead the way to yummy chocolate rewards!
The annual search is a cracking way to celebrate the festive period –and the museum's Easter Egg Hunt ensures everyone wins something.
And if you find the exceedingly rare red eggs, you'll get a bumper amount of chocolate treats, so keep your eyes peeled!
The museum will also invite visitors to follow an Easter-themed trail which will snake its way around the exhibits, giving you a wonderful tour of the history hub as you go.
It's good traditional family fun suitable for little chicks and older bunnies alike, and there will be additional Easter-themed family activities on site.
The four day event is also choc-full of non-sweetie goodness, with plenty of hands-on interaction getting you closer to our past.
Take a walk along the street of shops and see how people used to buy their groceries and go back to school for some retro learning. Long before smart phones and selfies, people used to amuse themselves with far simpler items - do try out the parlour games from a bygone age.
From a precarious penny-farthing to a comfortable canal boat, theTransport Hall has it all – including the tram that would carry workers from Stony Stratford to Wolverton every day.
Play on the pianola, experience public punishment in the stocks, learn the story of human communication in The Connected Earth gallery and much more.
And when you've investigated all of that, you must check out the family privy, where everyone could spend a penny at once! With so much fun to enjoy, hunger will come knocking.
Don't worry - a visit to the Granary Cafe will put an end to rumbling bellies, with a range of affordable hot and cold snacks and drinks on the menu.
Give your family an egg-stra special Easter time – take them to Milton Keynes Museum.
Standard admission prices apply – which will also give you FREE entry for the following 12 months; adults £12, child £8, concessions £10. A family ticket (admitting two adults and up to four children) is £36.
