The hunt will be on at Milton Keynes Museum this Easter when the search for hidden eggs begins – and they lead the way to yummy chocolate rewards!
It is a cracking way to celebrate the festive period – and the egg hunt ensures everyone wins something. And if you find the exceedingly rare red eggs, you'll get a bumper amount of chocolate treats, so keep your eyes peeled!
The eggs will be dotted around inside the Museum and around the grounds, ensuring a fantastic time for everyone as they enjoy a wonderful tour of the history hub along the way.
The Museum is also inviting visitors to get stuck into some Easter themed craft activities.
It's traditional family fun suitable for little chicks and older bunnies alike, and the four day event (April 15-18) is also choc-full of non-sweetie goodness, with plenty of hands-on interaction getting you closer to the past.
Take a walk along the Street of Shops and see how people used to buy their groceries, and then go back to school for some Victorian style learning.
Long before smart phones and selfies, people used to amuse themselves with far simpler items – be sure to try puff billiards, the pianola and various parlour games from a bygone age.
From a precarious penny-farthing to a comfortable canal boat, the Transport Hall has it all – including the tram that would carry workers from Stony Stratford to Wolverton every day.
Experience public punishment in the stocks, learn the story of human communication in The Connected Earth gallery and much more.
With so much fun to enjoy, hunger will come knocking.
A visit to the Granary Cafe will put an end to rumbling bellies, with a range of affordable snacks and drinks on the menu.
Give your family an egg-stra special Easter time with a trip to the Museum.
