But it's not just about discovering a new place and seeing what's unique about each area. Regular walking helps boost circulation, promotes better sleep and helps uplift our moods. We aim to be inclusive to all, encouraging those with dementia and caregivers to join us.
Led by one of The Parks Trust's knowledgeable guides, these walks are taken at an easy pace, allowing time to take things in and engage in conversations. Each Discovery Stroll lasts around 1-1.5 hours, and we stick to paths that are accessible to all. Please come with sturdy footwear and clothing that is suited to weather conditions.
