Come and Sing: Carmina Burana (excerpts)
Saturday, 25 January 2020
- Time
- 10:00 - 16:00
- Venue
- Church Of Christ The Cornerstone, Milton Keynes, MK9 2ES
- Price
- £16, £10 full-time students
This popular choral work (think ‘X-Factor’ or ‘Old Spice’) contains more than just that famous bit! Join us for a Come and Sing day to learn more of this dramatic and exciting music. Our dynamic duo, Musical Director Mark Jordan and Assistant MD Alex Aitken, will lead us through the day and, as at our rehearsals, the serious learning and work on technique will be interspersed with a plentiful supply of good humour and anecdotes.
The ticket price of £16, £10 for full-time students, includes score hire and tea/coffee and cake, but please bring your own lunch, or pop across the road to one of the many cafes in the shopping centre.
Please ensure that you book a ticket appropriate for your voice type (Soprano, Alto, Tenor or Bass).
Registration is from 9.30am and there will be an informal performance at 3.00pm to which family and friends are invited, with a suggested donation of £5.
If you need further information please call Ruth on 07894 665025 or email publicity@mkchorale.org.uk.
