Astronaut Susan Kilrain is coming to Cranfield near Milton Keynes on Saturday 10th May 2025. From US Naval Aviator to one of only three women to pilot the Space Shuttle. Susan will be speaking about her pioneering career: 20 years in the Navy paving the way for women, more than 3,000 flight hours in over 30 different aircraft and her two missions to space as pilot of the Space Shuttle Columbia. This is your opportunity to come and meet in-person a pioneering female Astronaut.
Hear firsthand about her journey, challenges and accomplishments. Be inspired and renew your sense of curiosity to drive pursuit of your own dreams and goals. Astronauts offer unique perspectives on topics such as leadership, teamwork, problem-solving and overcoming adversity, as well as insights into the rigorous training process, life in space, and the emotional impact of viewing Earth from space.
Each guest will have the opportunity to meet Susan and get an Autograph.
