More Information (MKFM is not responsible for external websites)

Join a guided walk at the Floodplain Forest on Wednesday 17th September at 10:30am. The history of the site dates back as far as Norman times and, more recently in 1811, became home to the worlds first wide canal cast iron trough aqueduct. The walk will visit the aqueduct and admire the fantastic views across the nature reserve at the top.

This walk will last around 1 hour 30 minutes and the meeting point is at the Manor Court Farm car park, off Old Wolverton Road, what3words location bunks.cliff.towels.

This event is suitable for all ages, however children must be supervised by an adult at all times.

The walk will mostly keep to the paths. Some of the walk involves steep steps, going through livestock gates and potentially walking through fields with cows or sheep. Please wear appropriate footwear and dress for the weather.

Please note, there are no toilets or refreshments available at this park.

This is a free event, but booking a space is essential.

Please contact events@theparkstrust.com if you require any accessibility support or to request a hearing loop.
