A children's adventure play and party venue in Milton Keynes was broken into during the night.

Safari MK, a soft play venue for kids in Milton Keynes, was broken into last night, owners have reported.

The play centre, which opened in 2014, was broken into at roughly 3:30am this morning (23/8) with staff being alerted due to the security alarm.

The owners have said that the site is cashless, with the man leaving the site with a 'bag of animal teddies, 29 red bull, 25 fruits shoots and some crisps'.

"Thank you to our keyholding company MK Security and the police who just missed the man who broke in," the owners said in a post on Facebook.

"Also to Donna, our manager, who lives across the road and came in before I could get there and meet the police and clear up the mess with her daughter.

"Lisa, our morning manager was in mega early and everyone has been brilliant making sure we are ready to open on time for our customers."

Feeling sad 😞 Being woken up at 3.30am to the Safari MK alarm going off. Thank you to our keyholding company MK...
