Police confirm forensic activity in Milton Keynes wood found 'animal remains'

    Thames Valley Police have confirmed that their activity in Linford Wood earlier was related to 'animal remains'.

    Officers were called by a member of the public at 9.48am to reports that a suspicious object had been located in woodland near to the Stanton Wood roundabout.

    A number of officers attended throughout the day to try and establish what the object was.

    An archaeologist was also present at the scene.

    The object has now been confirmed as animal remains and the scene has been closed down.
