Milton Keynes residents spot Prince William after helicopter lands on local pavilion field

    Residents were in for a surprise when they spotted Prince William at their local pavilion today.

    Residents in the Tattenhoe area were surprised to hear a helicopter landing on the field of their local pavilion today, and even more surprised to see Prince William getting off it.

    It comes as the Prince of Wales made a visit to emergency response workers at The Blue Light Hub in Milton Keynes as part of his World Mental Health Day engagements.

    Today (11 October), Prince William visited the Blue Light Hub in Milton Keynes to highlight the importance of supporting the mental health of emergency responders.

    The Blue Light Hub opened in June 2020 and serves as an emergency services hub, merging stations from across the city. it is a base for South Central Ambulance Service, Thames Valley Police and Buckinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service.

    Prince William was due to meet a group of young people, including Blue Light mental health champions and volunteers, who have recently joined the emergency and search and rescue services.

    A spokesperson for The Prince and Princess of Wales stated that His Royal Highness would hear first-hand from those in the early stages of their careers about the challenges they face.
