Harry's Rainbow Colour Run and Fun Day in Milton Keynes returns this June

Harry's Rainbow colour run and fun day is back on Saturday 15th June between 12pm – 4pm at Wolverton Recreation Ground.

Harry’s Rainbow is a MK based children’s charity who support children, young people and young adults who have been bereaved of a parent or sibling.

Originally set up by Harry’s twin sister Jessica as a Memorial Day to mark Harry's Anniversary, it is now in its 14th year and has become very popular with children and families of all abilities.

The fun run is open to children of all ages taking place at the large Wolverton Recreation Ground on Woburn Avenue, Wolverton, MK12 5AZ.

Not only is there the colour run but there will also be games, stalls, food and refreshments and many more activities, it's a not to be missed community event and family fun day out!

The route is on grass as the course takes place on a field, which will be marked out and marshalled. Participants can run/walk/hop/skip/jump the course and there is a choice of 1/2 mile or 1 mile colour run (although there will be a non colour option).

For just £8 per person or £28 for a family of four, each participant will receive a running number, water, brioche and finishers medal. Only those who have purchased a ticket will be given a running number and medal for taking part.

This year, the charity would also like to encourage participants to fundraise as this not only ensures longevity of providing the event but it also enables Harry's Rainbow to do their very important work of supporting bereaved children. It costs £650 to support a child for one year and last year the team registered 149 children.

All individuals raising over £100 will receive a goody bag and the highest fundraiser will win a gift voucher of your choice!

The charity encourages people to book in advance as they can only allow a set number of entrants and each year the numbers of children entering increases.

    Tickets can be purchased here.
