Busy Milton Keynes road to close overnight next week as East West Rail works continue

A busy Bletchley road will be closed overnight next week while East West Rail works take place.

Buckingham Road will be closed from Monday 24th April to Friday 28th April 2023, between 11pm and 6am.

The overnight road closure will be in place while works take place on East West Rail, to allow access to the flyover from the road whilst trains are not running.

Network Rail warn that the works will have 'noisy elements' however, they will do their best to 'keep any disruption'

The East West Rail scheme is set to re-establish a rail link between Cambridge and Oxford to improve connections between East Anglia and central, southern and western England.

The line will provide the first direct rail link in more than 50 years between Oxford and Bletchley/Milton Keynes
