    Monday, October 11th, 2021 - 11 minutes

Michael speaks to Professor Julian Richards at The University of Buckingham We accept applications for our January starts all year round via the direct application form on our website. UK student applying for their first degree (undergraduate course) can also apply via UCAS.UK and EU students must apply by 18 December and international students by 11 December so their application can be processed in time. Application deadlines can vary by course though, and we may be able to accept late applications. Does a January start put students at a disadvantage?
No, not at all. The course content will be the same as for our programmes starting in September, and if students apply for a two-year degree to start studying in January, they can graduate in December into a less crowded job market. What courses offer to start studying in January? Most of our programmes are offered in January (as well as September). We are one of the few universities in the UK that offer a genuine second intake for our courses every year.
