Paul & Susan are in the studio to talk to Neal About Sleep out for one night in a tent or cardboard box to experience to a degree what homeless people/rough sleepers have to face every day and night. At the same time you will be raising vital funds, from sponsorship, for YMCA Milton Keynes. This year as well as raising money for our teaching and learning pgramme for residents, we will also be fundraising for furniture for our new builidng. Tents can be erected from 5pm in the Fred Roche Gardens. Cardboard boxes (which will be provided) can be made up and decorated from 7pm in the Residents Lounge at the YMCA , 61 North 7th Street, Central Milton Keynes MK9 2DP. A £5 regisration fee is required, which will cover the cost of hot drinks, soup and rolls on the evening ,and a breakfast bap and hot drinks the following morning. Sleepers must be at least 16 years of age to participate. If aged 16-17, they must be accompanied by a participating adult. What are my transport/parking options for getting to and from the event? Parking in the city centre is free from 6pm until 7am the next morning. What can I bring into the event? You should bring warm and waterproof clothing. If you are using a cardboard box, it would be prudent to bring tarpaulin or a simlar waterproof cover and some rope or similar to tie the cover down. You should also bring a waterproof mat and a sleeping bag
