Co-Op recalls Chocolate Caramel Shortcake Bites due to undisclosed gluten in some packs

The Co-Operative Food, which has 17 stores in Milton Keynes, is now recalling their packs of 18 Chocolate Caramel Shortcake Bites.

This is because some packs have been found to contain an incorrect product resulting in barley (gluten) not being mentioned on the label.

The possible contamination of the product means it could be a health risk for anyone with an allergy or intolerance to barley or gluten.

Packs of 18 Chocolate Caramel Shortcake Bites with the best before date 16 October 2020 have been affected.

If you have bought the affected product then do not eat it, but instead, return it to your closest Co-Op for a full refund.
