Houghton wins MKFM Goal of the Month for the second time

Jordan Houghton has picked up his second MKFM Goal of the Month Award of the season.

The midfielder, whose stunning effort against Mansfield Town was voted the MKFM Goal of the Month for October, has received the December honour for his long-range strike in the 2-0 victory over Carlisle United at Stadium MK.

Houghton, whose two finishes for the Club have both been Goal of the Months, won the award with 67% of the vote. Kieran Agard’s finish in the same game came second (17%) with Chuks Aneke’s effort against Northampton Town in third (8%).

The award will be presented to Houghton ahead of Saturday’s Sky Bet League Two clash with Crewe Alexandra at Stadium MK, when the winner of the Royal Cabs Player of the Month Award for December will be announced.
