A new crossing is being installed in Kingsmead, Milton Keynes.

Work has started on building a new crossing for Milton Keynes residents, joining Kingsmead with the new Kingsmead South.

The Tattenhoe Ward Conservatives have taken to social media to post updates on the crossing work which is currently underway.

They wrote: "Works starting to come into place to allow crossing on both sides of Kingsmead, connecting the old side of Kingsmead to the newly built side next to Tattenhoe Park.

"A great result for residents to help with safe crossing!"

Previously, residents have had to take a longer route around to get from one side to the other safely.

Back in October, a brand new large Co-op store opened in Kingsmead South.

The large store, which is the first on the estate, offers a wide range of products to residents and gets involved in community events and fundraisers.
