Woman sustains 'life threatening injuries' in serious injury collision in Milton Keynes

    Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses to a serious injury collision in Milton Keynes, specifically a Good Samaritan who stopped at the scene.

    The collision happened on the A5 southbound on-slip prior to the Redmoor Roundabout at about 7.30pm last night (11/4).

    A white Suzuki Swift left the carriageway and came to rest in a ditch.

    The driver of the vehicle, a woman has sustained life threatening injuries and is currently in hospital.

    Investigating officer PC Polly Rayner, of the Roads Policing department, said: “I am appealing to any witnesses to this serious injury collision that has left the driver in a serious condition in hospital.

    “I am specifically appealing for a Good Samaritan who stopped at the scene to come forward. This man flagged down other motorists to alert them to the collision.

    “If you are the man, or know who he is please contact police as soon as possible. The easiest way to do this is by leaving us your information online, using reference number 1831 (11/4). Alternatively you can call 101, but please be aware that call times are longer than usual.

    “If you don’t want to speak directly to the police you can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111. No personal details are taken, information is not traced or recorded and you will not go to court.”
