Winterland MK announces headline partners; CityFibre & Vodafone

This national dual partnership headlines the event, running from 22nd November 2019 until 5th January 2020 at Towcester Racecourse.

The event is set to see visitors immersing themselves in the ultimate festive experience, featuring a huge variety of attractions and entertainment.

The event will include firm favourites such as; the starlight ice rink, giant ferris wheel and Santa’s grotto along with some exciting extras such as a snowballing snow dome and an incredible zip-wire where you will be able to enjoy the festive lights from a birds-eye view. In addition, there will also be a Christmas market alongside a great selection of food and drink vendors offering some of the best street food and pop-up bars from across the UK.

CityFibre is currently building full fibre broadband infrastructure across Milton Keynes with Vodafone as its strategic partner and is set to provide residents of MK with extremely fast and reliable broadband services capable of Gigabit speeds (1,000 mbps). Northampton will also follow suit with the CityFibre build announced recently. www.cityfibre.com

Jean Gowin, CityFibre MK City Manager said; “CityFibre is delighted to be a lead partner of Winterland MK, and who doesn’t like Christmas? Bringing such a magical event to the local area is fantastic and we’re excited to be working with the experienced Winterland team. Plans are well underway for an amazing festive transformation of Towcester Racecourse and it will offer something for everyone, adults, children and even dogs! With the YMCA Milton Keynes & Northampton as the beneficiary charity of this event, it’s a wonderful opportunity to have fun locally, get festive and support a great cause.”

Neil Blagden, Director of Digital & Commercial Operations at Vodafone UK, said: “We are excited to support Winterland MK and to bring Vodafone Gigafast Broadband to homes and businesses across Milton Keynes.  Christmas can be a brilliant time for families getting together, whether it’s enjoying a day out at Winterland MK or at home, around the TV, downloading and watching their favourite Christmas film. We wish everyone involved every success with the event.”
