Who is standing in the European Elections in Milton Keynes?

    Residents in Milton Keynes will have the chance to vote in the European Parliament elections on Thursday 23rd May 2019 between 7am and 10pm.

    Milton Keynes is part of the South East England region which will elect 10 MEPs via the D'Hondt proportional representation system.

    In 2014, South East England elected 4 UKIP, 3 Conservative, 1 Liberal Democrat, 1 Labour and 1 Green Party MEP.

    This year, voters will have a choice of nine parties to choose from as well as three Independent candidates.

    The nine parties standing are: Change UK - The Independent Group, Conservative and Unionist Party, Green Party, Labour Party, Liberal Democrats, The Brexit Party, The Socialist Party of Great Britain, UK European Union Party (UKEUP) and UK Independence Party (UKIP).

    The three Independent candidates standing are Jason Guy Spencer McMahon, David Victor Round and Michael Jeffrey Turberville.

    Votes will counted and the winner announced on Sunday 26th May after 10pm.
