The Arches Theatre near Olney will be welcoming six West End artists this weekend for the final performance of the year.
Musicals in the Park, a musical theatre spectacular, has been created specifically for The Arches Theatre and will be taking place this Saturday (12/9).
It has been put together by London-based choreographers Scott Coldwell and Lucy Dean, who have previously worked with the likes of Madonna, Rihanna and Take That.
The cast line up also includes local girl, Whitney Martins, who comes from Milton Keynes. Prior to lockdown, Whitney was performing as CoCo in Starlight Express in Germany.
David Pibworth, owner of The Arches Theatre, said: "Musicals in the Park will be a great production to close on. It’s something for all ages, full of fun and energy, and of course performed by some very talented artists who we are very honoured to have with us.
"We were lucky enough to open our outdoor theatre this summer and extend our run to support a range of local and professional artists.
"By doing this we have been able to support our industry by getting performers back on the stage and giving audience members the great live theatre that they have been missing. We are already planning 2021!"
The matinee and evening performances will include high energy musical numbers from shows such as The Greatest Showman, Grease, Chicago and more.
West End dance workshops hosted by Scott Coldwell are available to children aged between 6-16 years.
