Weekend stop and searches result in three arrests for 'serious offences' in Milton Keynes

Police officers arrested three people for 'serious offences' over the weekend following a spate of stop and searches.

This was part of TVP Milton Keynes' "proactive operation" focusing on reducing serious youth violence and knife crime. Additional Officers were brought in to support the activities.

29 people were stopped and searched, 3 people were arrested for serious offences including GBH, drug driving and possession with intent to supply class B drugs.

It is believed that one of these incidents took place in Hunstanton Way, Bletchley on Saturday. Michael Meyer-Brink, aged 30, of Leigham Avenue, London, was later charged with a count each of possession with intent to supply Class B drugs, dangerous driving, failing to stop, driving while disqualified, and driving with no insurance.

A spokesperson for Thames Valley Police said: "We will continue to focus on making Milton Keynes a safer place and providing reassurance to the local community.

"We would ask that anyone with information about people carrying weapons call 101 or 999 in an emergency."
