    A Milton Keynes pedestrian has serious leg and head injuries after being hit by a car in Magna Park.

    The person was hit on Monday morning at just after 6am and is currently being treated at the John Radcliffe Hospital.

    MK Hospital are urging people to use alternative facilities if they are more appropriate.

    The hospital is reporting significant pressure and say that pharmacies and urgent care centres can sometimes provide a more useful service.

    Milton Keynes Academy has come under fire from parents and students following the introduction of a new uniform policy.

    The new rules mean black trainers are no longer permitted to be worn.

    And Samir Carruthers has left MK Dons to join League 1 rival Sheffield United for an undisclosed fee.

    Carruthers first joined MK Dons in 2013.
