Football fans can volunteer to play their part in history at the UEFA Women's EURO in Milton Keynes

Fans are now able to pre-register for the chance to become one of hundreds of volunteers bringing the matchday experience to life for visiting supporters.

With the UEFA Women’s EURO 2021 set to be the biggest celebration of the women’s game ever seen in this country, the FA is inviting fans to mark the global day by pre-registering their interest to volunteer and play their part in history.

Stadium MK is one of ten grounds which will stage UEFA Women’s EURO 2021 matches. The stadium will host four matches including a semi-final on 28 July – in what promises to be a record-breaking edition of the European tournament next summer.

Central to the amazing fan experience as England hosts the competition will be the inspirational volunteers at each host venue. From building the atmosphere inside and outside stadiums, to greeting and assisting supporters, the matchday volunteers will play a huge role in this special moment for women’s football.

Chris Bryant, The FA’s Head of Tournament Delivery, said: “We know that when our country hosts major sporting events, the inspirational and committed volunteers play a huge role in adding the magic to what is already a special occasion. It is fitting that as we look ahead to International Women’s Day, fans can now pre-register their interest in volunteering at one of our 10 host venues for UEFA Women’s EURO 2021. We look forward to announcing more information in due course about the volunteering opportunities available.”

Now in its 13th edition, the UEFA Women’s EURO 2021 is making over 700,000 tickets available to fans, with extensive coverage of every game of the tournament available on free-to-air television, radio and online. Fans will be able to see some of the world’s best players in action on home soil as 31 matches are played across 26 days of competition.
