Two police officers from Milton Keynes dismissed following train confrontation

Two MK Police officers have been placed on the barred list after being accused of aggressively confronting a passenger on their train.

After a two-week disciplinary hearing, two police officers have both been placed on the barred list.

The two police officers, PC Ben Pecorini and PC Myles Mykoo, have been dismissed for misconduct.

The pair were accused of confronting a fellow train passenger 'aggressively', the passenger filmed their drunken behaviour.

The claims stemmed from a train trip that the pair and former police officer, PC Joesbury, took back in 2019, when they were celebrating a birthday in London.

The officers were all accused of misusing their warrant cards to travel on the train, however, this allegation was not proven by Thames Valley Police.

Former PC Joesbury and PC Pecorini admitted to “engaging in sexualised and inappropriate dancing” on the northwestern train by the end of the hearing.

The panel’s legally qualified chair, Mr John Bassett, said that this amounted to misconduct.

It is alleged that during this train journey, passenger Mr A recorded the officers to which he was then confronted in a “loud, aggressive and/or physical manner.”
