Two park cafes in Milton Keynes closing temporarily due to 'rising infection rates'

Grounds Cafe have announced they are temporarily closing two of their park cafes in Milton Keynes.

The sites at Howe Park Wood and Emberton Country Park will be closing with immediate effect until further notice.

In a statement, Grounds Cafe said: "We have taken the difficult decision to temporarily close our cafes, to help keep our staff, their families and our customers safe during this time when infection rates are increasing so rapidly."

"We hope this closure will only be for a few weeks so please follow our page to receive updates on when we will re-open."

"We will miss all our customers, and particularly those of you who come to us regularly."

The Parks Trust in Milton Keynes have said that the toilets at Howe Park Wood will also close as a result.
