Two men arrested following assault on an emergency worker in Milton Keynes

    Residents reported seeing a heavy police presence down North Ninth Street in Central Milton Keynes on Sunday (25/10).

    And a spokesperson for Thames Valley Police has confirmed that this was concerning an investigation into an assault that was reported at around 11.35pm on Saturday (24/10).

    The victim, a man in his thirties, sustained facial injuries and was taken to hospital for treatment. He has since been discharged.

    A 31-year-old man of no fixed abode was arrested on suspicion of false imprisonment, robbery, section 18 wounding with intent and assault by beating of an emergency worker.

    A 30-year-old man from Milton Keynes was arrested on suspicion of robbery, section 18 wounding with intent and assault by beating of an emergency worker.

    Both men have been released on police bail.
