Two coronavirus deaths reported in Milton Keynes in the last 7 days

    A total of 4 of patients were admitted to Milton Keynes University Hospital in the last 7 days

    The update confirms that 6 patients are currently being treated for COVID-19 at Milton Keynes Hospital, with 1 patient on a ventilator. 

    In the last 7 days two deaths were sadly recorded in Milton Keynes within 28 days of a positive test

    The latest data, released by the government weekly, includes people admitted to MK Hospital who tested positive for COVID-19 in the 14 days prior to their hospital admission and those who tested positive in hospital after admission.

    This comes as 131 positive tests were recorded today, taking the total number of cases to 22,651 since the start of the pandemic.

    The 7-day case rate in Milton Keynes now stands at 253.5 cases per 100,000 people, which is below the national average of 319.5 cases per 100,000 people.

    179,990 local people have had their first dose of the vaccine so far and 129,641 people are now fully vaccinated.
