Travellers set up right next to popular family campsite and theme park

Groups of travellers, complete with horses, have set up on a patch of grass next to Gulliver's Meadow Campsite in Newlands.

It is believed that the travellers could have arrived on the land yesterday (5/8).

Images show multiple vehicles on the field, with small horses also roaming free in man-made pens.

Earlier this evening (5/8), one van had blocked the public footpath which separates the caravan site and the theme park.

According to Google Maps, the land the travellers have occupied is owned by The Parks Trust.

MKFM has contacted The Parks Trust for comment.
