    Local bus services were disrupted yesterday evening following a fire near CMK market.

    Midsummer Boulevard which runs above the market was closed for around an hour at 5.30pm and rush hour traffic was also affected.

    Police are appealing for information following a youth gang robbery in West Ashland last week.

    Last Monday at just before 10pm, a 58 year old man was assualted by seven boys, who are all thought to be aged between nine and fifteen years old.

    The NHS in MK are urging people to stay warm over the next few months by keeping their homes heated to at least 18 degrees.

    Research suggests there will be 25,000 deaths this winter due to the cold.

    And firefighters released a cat which was stuck in a cavity wall yesterday afternoon. 

    The cat was stuck in Tilbrook (pron: Tile-brook) and the RSPCA were alerted.
