This is what 24 hours of policing in Milton Keynes looks like...

    Thames Valley Police has revealed the most notable crimes and incidents in Milton Keynes from the past 24 hours.

    1x attempt residential burglary report

    This was a delayed report that took place in Charbray Crescent in Shenley Brook End. Last Thursday (23/07), a suspect was seen trying door handles in the early hours of the morning.

    4x robbery reports 

    Investigations are ongoing with Priority Crime Team (PCT) officers.

    15 x Domestic crimes and incidents reviewed for investigation

    These range from non-crime incidents to allegations of sexual assaults, breach of non-molestation orders, theft and stalking

    4 x reports of sexual offences

    These investigations are now ongoing with the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) or the Child Abuse Investigation Unit (CAIU).

    1 x report of race/hate crime

    A racially aggravated Public order towards MK Custody Staff.

    6 x reports of violent crime-actual bodily harm (ABH)

    Investigations are ongoing.

    Early turn officers also have started their shift with four missing person investigations, one custody handover (detainee is held on suspicion of burglary), one unauthorised encampment (working alongside Milton Keynes Council and neighbourhood teams) and one report for non-compliance of COVID related matters.

    Today, there are also 20 open jobs for attendance and 34 new reported crimes for TVP's Smarter Resolution Team to follow up with victims.

    All of the above offences mentioned are new in addition to the ongoing investigations that the teams are carrying.
