The two towns near Milton Keynes named in the Top 10 'Worst Places To Live' in the UK

Two towns close to Milton Keynes have been named inside the top 10 'worst places to live' in the UK in a new survey for 2021.

Naturally, Milton Keynes does not appear in the top 50 list of worst places to live in the UK compiled by satire website ilivehere.co.uk in their annual survey.

However, two of our esteemed neighbours have found themselves inside the top 10.

Nearby Luton is voted as the seventh worst place to live in the country.

One voter in the survey described the town as "not being easy on the eye" and said "it makes Slough comparable to Monaco".

But it is nearby Peterborough which comes in as officially the 'worst place' to live in the UK this year.

One voter described their reason for selecting the town by saying: "The atmosphere in Peterborough is draining. You feel totally isolated from the rest of the world and life in general, as though everything else is going on and you’re not part of it as you’re stuck in this dump."

Huddersfield, Liverpool, Bradford and Hull find themselves making up the rest of the top top 5.
