The 4 key rules from The Parks Trust if you're visiting a Milton Keynes green space during lockdown

With the first lockdown weekend fast approaching, there will be plenty of people across Milton Keynes who are preparing to spend some time in our city's green spaces.

The Parks Trust manage some of the biggest open spaces in Milton Keynes including Campbell Park and Willen Lake, as well as many smaller green spaces too.

And to help keep everyone safe, they are asking us to follow some simple rules when we visit during lockdown.

    Who to visit with

At all times, you should observe social distancing guidelines when you are outside your home. You can exercise outdoors or visit an outdoor public place with the people you live with, your support bubble or one person from another household.

    Travelling to the parks

You can travel for exercise if you need to make a short journey to do so but it is recommended that if you need to travel, you walk or cycle where possible. You can find a map of the parks in Milton Keynes here.

    Advice if you feel unwell

If you feel unwell, or anyone in your household has symptoms, The Parks Trust ask that you do not attend any of their parks and follow the Government advice to self-isolate.

Play areas, outdoor gym equipment, events and activities

Play areas will remain open with the current guidance in place. However, outdoor gym equipment across the parks will be closed and should not be used from Thursday 5th November until further notice. Find out more about the guidance and restrictions in place here.
