Temporary contracts available at local charity MacIntyre

MacIntyre have volunteering and temporary employment available in MK during Coronavirus pandemic.

Local charity, MacIntyre have put together a plan centred around volunteering and temporary employment - engaging the local community to support if and when sadly, their Support Workers and front line staff may get ill or be self-isolating and unable to work.

MacIntyre can offer temporary contracts or employment to anyone who is affected by a cease in their employment or business closure, or indeed students who may be home as universities are closed.

Contracts can be flexible, for two or three months, with the view to fast-track people into paid employment as much as possible.

This will be a mutually beneficial arrangement as their own staff may need to self-isolate.

Many jobs involve great customer service skills, and often some knowledge of people with learning disabilities from when groups visit restaurants, shops etc. These are certainly transferrable skills for the sector and MacIntyre can teach you the rest.

MacIntyre want to share the message that they have options for those that find themselves in a position that was unthinkable just a few days ago and by doing so, they will be helping the charity continue to support young people and adults within our community with learning disabilities who need the charity now more than ever.
